Bill Roundtree, CLU, ChFC, is agency vice president in the Florida Zone. He began his State Farm® career in 1986 in health claims in the Missouri Regional Office, where he joined the agency administration department in 1988. Bill moved to corporate headquarters in 1990 as a staff assistant in the agency department and was selected as an agent in Bloomington, Ill., in 1993. He was named agency field consultant in Overland Park, Kan., in 1996 and moved to Tulsa Okla., in 1997 as a regional agency administrative assistant in the Oklahoma/Kansas Regional Office. In 1998, Bill was selected as an agency field executive in Milwaukee, Wis. In 2001, he was named Vice President-Agency in the Mid-Atlantic Zone. In June 2003, he moved to corporate headquarters as vice president-compliance in the marketplace compliance department. Two years later he was named vice president- agency/sales support in the agency executive department. In 2006, he assumed his current position.

A native of Missouri, Bill is a graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia. He completed the General Manager’s Program at Harvard University. He earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations in 2001. He has served on the board of directors for the Neighborhood Housing Services, George Karl Friends of Hoop and the Milwaukee Community Insurance Information Center. Bill and his wife, Teana, have one daughter, Jordan.
